European Day of Languages
This year's 20th celebration of the European Day of Languages was filled with interesting activities as well.
Class 2 students in Saint Sava Primary School, Kikinda, Serbia, enjoyed designing postcards for their friends. They drew the symbols of Kikinda: a female mammoth called Kika, a dry horse-powered mill called suvača, small long-eared owls called ušare and pumpkins called ludaje.
Different groups of Class 1 and Class 2 students sang the song 'If you're happy'in Serbian and showed great interest in listening to the same song in different languages.
The representatives of Class 2 students enjoyed meeting their friends from 7 different schools and singing the well-known song with them.
Class 6 students missed the scheduled online meetings, but had fun playing the Kahoot quiz and finding out some interesting things about European countries nonetheless.
They also enjoyed designing postcards and writing greetings to their new eTwinning friends.
We hope that the activities in this project will impress everyone and will receive the most votes on the official Council of Europe page.
